day two highlights

chemistry review, same handouts as nonlicense training with an instructor that actually knows chemistry. Site VP dropped by and gave us a short pep-talk. he missed yesterday as his volvo station wagon was t-boned by a chevy 1500 pickup. at least he wasnt hurt. BTW, he was a submarine ENG before he got out, spent some time as a Resident Inspector for the NRC and then switched over and licensed here. self studying now, which really means doing a quick note review and doing the usatoday.com crossword. This could be because of recent staffing changes or that the reports that I had gotten were exaggerated. As one instructor put it this after noon “only 565 days to go.” At least we got some perks, a new laptop and the associated stuff
